I just signed up for orientation at my college(I start this fall) and it sounds like they're gonna waste 2 days doing something the could do in one.
I know some people on my f-list have probably been to a college orientation. so my question is this: is it kinda fun or as lame as it sounds?

me too. *hugs* I've missed talking to you. I was gonna get on tonight but the main phone jack in my room is messed up somehow. And I probably can't get it fixed till like Sat at the earliest. Which means I'm stuck in the living room w/ everyone.:( But hopefully we can talk by wed anyways.

Some orientations are better than others. I'd try to think up some questions in advance (with the help of your family/friends).

I am now finishing up junior year of college, so my experience about college orientation may be a little dated. The best thing about it is that you get to meet people in a no-stress situation. Also EVERYONE starts off on the same foot. Everyone is nervous and excited about college and being away from home but also missing their parents, friends, cousins, etc. Some parts may seem lame but they try and make it funa and welcoming to all. I wish you luck on your orientation. Have lots of fun and relax.
