*Our out of town company left this morning. :) Its always nice to have them but after a couple days I'm ready for things to go back to normal.

*Haven't had a chance to watch but about half of the last SHIELD ep, and looks like we may be bolting lunch and running out of town to do some cryouts, so I probably can't watch tonight's ep live...and by the looks of that promo, I'm not as disappointed as I could be.

*Got a bachelorette party this weekend and I'm already tired. Oddly, the bride's mother is coming (which is only odd b/c she's a mom. She actually really likes to have a good time. But we're using the family beach house (my parents, dad's sister & her hubby, and dad's brother & his wife split it 3 ways) so I've got to keep an eye on the house as Daddy decided not to charge us. I'm kinda starting to feel like the chaperone. It also doesn't hurt that out of the people invited (14, including me) I only know half of them and only like half of the half. :/

*DISHNet capped out over the weekend, so I can look forward to massively slow internet speeds till the 20th.

Just a few general notes:
(1) Finished up year 2 of law school. Just one more left.
(2) Managed to get 2 As this semester.
(3) Interning @ the DA's office Mon-Wed this summer, and I'll be at my parent's office Thurs & Fri since their secretary is on maternity(/may not come back).
(4) Still looking for one of good hunting-stock, but Daddy has agreed I can have a lab puppy as long as he can duck hunt with it.

1) Only one grade back so far. I got my Torts grade back (aka hardest class) & I got a B+!!! :D

2) School starts back on Tuesday & it's soon to be time for my usual weekend-at-home hiatus.

Really not wanting to start back, but oh well, I'll have net 24/7 again at least. lol. Glass hald full.

Anyways, I really hope & plan to keep this more up to date this next semester, but it's possible I won't really be on till spring break.

Even if I do update here more frequently this next semester, I'll still be more likely to be found at tumblr and at
Twitter on a more regular basis.

3) Moving back to school tomorrow. Send prayers/luck/good vibes. I'll need it....especially since my friends decided we needed to live on the third floor and moving stuff up flights of stairs in south Georgia heat....not a good idea.

4) Looking at my semester, I may be able to beta fics again for a while. Drop me a note if you need a beta. Just no epic-length fics please. Senior year & all that.

5) Also, due to fandomsecrets, I've been rewatching some of the old Beast Wars episodes. Anyone (besides Lisa) ever watch that? It's actually really well-written, dark and has awesome characters....and I kinda realized Dinobot had been one of my childhood idols. What does that say about a person? I kind of want to squee over characters and plot points now. :/

2) Used the money mom gave me for my birthday to buy myself Public Enemies & Star Trek. Good use of the money methinks.

3) Back at school. Start class at 10:00 tomorrow, but since it’s just Aerobics I just have to get up, throw some clothes on and go. I also have American Lit 2 with a lady that's supposed to be insane (but I have to take it) and Feminist Thought (i need to take up poli sci hours. Luckily, my friend said the prof is good)
Luckily Tuesday should be a be a better class day.

4) Watched Angels & Demons over the weekend. I thought it was okay and I liked it better than Da Vinci Code. Also watched Revenge of the Fallen. Did not like it as well as the first (admittedly I was high on pain pills when I saw the 1st & refuse to see it again for fear of disappointment). It seemed to have less plot/character development than the first (and not nearly enough Bumblebee). Anyone else agree?

So Avenue Q is going to be in Savannah tomorrow (45 min from my school). Everyone's going for my friend's birthday, but I have to miss it b/c I'm off to Atlanta for X-mas shopping/eat good food. (that second one is my fav part). Don't get me wrong, I like Atlanta trips, but timing clearly sucks. :(


Also, got to finish 3 books, and 3 papers and 1 test before finals...which are 2 weeks after Thanksgiving week. :( Pray for me!!!!

Soon to go grab an early lunch so me & fav cousin can eat before taking WT for his eye surgery. Send us all the luck you can spare. Maybe since me & her are his favorite ppl(besides himself), he'll behave. *crosses-fingers*

On a lighter note: Kitty moved her kittens up beside the front porch so I finally saw them. One is mostly gray and striped, the other is almost totally white w/ some gray. Very cute and fluffy. And young enough that there is hope to domesticate. Yay!

1. Finally joined ontd_startrek. :D
2. Mom’s finally done w/ the cases that were stressing her.
3. Dad’s going to Kroger. (This is great b/c Harvey’s sucks)
4. Going out to dinner, and my town’s only non-fast food, non-foreign restaurant is GOOD. (And not pricey) Even better, my brother has martial arts prac then
5. Dad found Kitty's kittens out by the pump house. There's just 2 apparently. (see item 5)

2) Honey is having ear issues again. (She’s quite prone to ear infections) Her ears seem to be bothering her, but she doesn’t yelp when I touch them. (She usually does when she has one). I’m concerned that it may be ear mites. Anyone have any experience w/ pets getting them? If it’s an ear infection, she tends to get over it, but if its ear mites I need to go get meds and treat all the dogs.
And I know the vet could tell me if she had them, but 1) that costs money 2)if she didn’t have them they’d just charge us for the consult 3)She’s filthy 4)my dogs don’t do leashes, collars, buildings or cars….or baths….wow, that sounds bad.

3)Backing off my coffee intake prior to going back to school is no fun. It’s hard to only drink one cup when the coffee still in the pot smells good. (I’m not shooting for one cup a day though. Trying to cut down from 5 a day to 3. And then down to 2)

4)Lol. Dad is leading the church service Sunday in the preacher’s absence. This means me and my cousin can make faces at him and he can’t do a thing about it. (Aren’t we mature? He’d do the same thing to us)
The message, however, will be given by a wonderful lady who was a favorite teacher of mine back in middle school. She lost her baby when her father(the woman’s, not the baby’s) didn’t know the baby was behind his truck and backed over her. The family did manage to pull through with God’s help. This was years ago, but I still think the message will probably an emotional one.

5) Sadly we're definatly going to have to get rid of the kittens in order to not have a repeat of our last massive cat invasion. Note: At least 50 of them running around the property, only 5 of which would let you touch them, and only another 5 would allow you to get w/n 5 ft of them.
We've decided to inact a one cat at a time plan. Still does this mean I won't seek out said kittens and name them? Not at all. :D
