*The Dark Knight: It was AMAZING! Anyone who knows me at all knows I've been looking forward to this movie for months and it was even better than I expected. Ledger's Joker was incredible and I'm disappointed he isn't around to repraise it. (I'd now even call myself a fan of his.) And Harvey Dent! Tragic. He's actually always been my favorite villain and this portrayl was as awesome as the rest of this movie. And the gorgeous Cillian Murphy made a cameo! Seriously people go see this movie!

*Avatar: While I was at the beach me, my cousins, and my brother discussed the awesome-ness of Avatar since we were missing the big week. My brother and the older of the 2 cousins(who we're now calling C) were discussing our disappointment that zutara wasn't canon. The other kataang fan cousin(T) wanted to know the name of his ship(he only knew what zutara was called) which led to me telling them about internet shipping....but I left out teh gay. I told them about the whole water+air=clouds(kataang) and water+fire=steam(zutara). C thinks about this a minute then looks and me laughing and says "well water+earth=MUD...doesn't that make you wanna ship harutara?" lol. I love her. Also, we couldn't convince T that Zutara was OTP, but we did convince him Taang was awesome. YAY!

It was GREAT. The ending ships of course I didn't like, and Aang really began to get on my nerves but overall I loved it. Plot holes and all. The battles were incredible. And Southern Raiders was a great zutara ep. And the whole azula fight scene. And having "the old guys" back. But my favorite part of the end: Iroh and Zuko reconcile. Yes I cried. Yes, I'm a sap. Oh, and why the hell couldn't we learn about Ursa?! I don't want Bryke to ruin Avatar's awesomeness with a crappy spin-off.

There was a discussion somewhere on [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] about the fact that we would watch spin-offs focused solely on almost any one character. Now it looks like we get an entire series of Zuko Alone. And I'm okay with that. *waits impatiently for SDCC*

Sokka/Suki/Toph remains my OT3. :D

I would like Mai character development. That touch of development in Boiling Rock was part of why I liked it so much. (Though she was kind of a deus ex machina....deus ex Maichina?) And of course, always needs moar Iroh.

They would have to leave the Gaang, because the others would be so shadowed by their awesome that they would all grow pale and wither. :D

Character development would be nice but I really don't like the canon maiko(yes, I actually liked it in fanfic). Besides, she and Ty Lee totally want each other....and yes, there is my zutarian-ness.

And of course we need more Iroh. WE ALWAYS need more Iroh.

And yes no one else can compete with Zuko and Iroh's awesome.

I am actually a really big fan of Tyzula. I blame capslock. Regardless of one's 'ship preferences, I think Mai is good for Zuko, and vice-versa. Plus she's like the best bodyguard ever.

Clearly the answer here is Mai/Zuko/Katara. Everything can be solved with OT3s. (Unless you're like me and ship him with Sokka, too. Then the answer results in a relationship chart that requires color-coded strings and rivals Torchwood in its complexity.)

OT3s do seem to solve everything. And I never saw the joy of Sokka/Zuko until Zuko joined the gaang. Now I see it. I'm still Zutara though...save when I zucest. Damn you fandom! A couple years ago I wouldn't have touched the gay or the incest...I'm corrupted.

My favorite part of the Avatar movie had to be the scene between Iroh and Zuko, too. *sniff* I'm getting teary just thinking about it. ;)
