If I can manage to get them, we think the shelter will work, otherwise I'll try the vet's office. It's be nice if there was a rescue or shelter locally. We've got a bit of a stray dog problem around here. They're rarely ever aggressive, but in town there's probably about 3 packs of strays. We were caroling a few years back & ran up w/ a huge pack of mostly pit mixes. They were all really sweet, but smelled awful & desperately needed a flea bath.
Though I think it would be nice to find that one person that would be willing to put up with all my BS and accept me for me; I just don't think that person is out there :x Aww. They probably are. I'm unfortunately really impatient & feel like I'd be the one who wouldn't put up w/ someone else's bs, which would not be fair to them. (When my mom has asked me why I don't date I've actually told her "I'm barely willing to put up w/ my OWN bs, so I certainly don't want to put up w/ someone else's")
