Holy moly, X-Fies is coming back!!! I'm so super excited to hear this! I'm curious about Mr. Carter's remark that he plans to pick up right where the series left off. I wonder if that means we're going to pick up in 2002 or if we're going to meet the characters in present day and just assume they've been trucking on as always. I'm kind of hoping the latter is the case because I'd love to meet Scully's teenage son. :D

I would think the latter due to everyone obviously aging, but then the Hobbit made its characters younger so maybe not.
