Comment with a pairing (in any fandom) and I'll tell you:

1. When I started shipping them
2. What I think their challenge is
3. What makes me happy about them
4. What makes me sad about them
5. What moment I wish had never happened
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other
7. My happily ever after for them

I should be around off & on tomorrow since I'm at work. Home for spring break (technically) though I'll be working on a paper. At least I should be able to sleep some.
I'll attempt an actual post this week. (And exactly how long have I been saying this now?)

2. Which is basically every relationship's challenge (even if she goes vampire). XD He can always join afterlife, everywhere and nowhere :D
3. Word.
4. Are you sure about that?
6.:D Yes yes!
7. Same.

4. Well no, it's just not the best plot move in my opinion.
6. lol. I love me some Integra/Seras (even though I'm not generally much on femmslash.

4. The manga and tv series ended ambiguous, it's a plot move that was intentional (specially in the Gonzo tv series... which make it the 90% likely outcome, now manga can be 50% and 50%).
6. They are awesome together *_*

4. Excuse me, rephrase: the idea of her becoming a vampire to stay w/ him is the bad plot move. And wow, yeah I'd actually forgotten the anime ending. It's been years since I watched it....rewatch is necessary.
6. They really would. And it makes a lot more sense than many of the pairings in the fandom.

4. I think that, manga wise, Hirano eliminated Integra's attachments with the living for a reason (and also make her rephrase her conception of monsters vs humans). Therefore, becoming a vampire is exactly the next step forward by the plot. Her entire arc was to grow from a little girl who depended on half truths told by her father into a grown leader and woman who had her own ideas. She can't not become a vampire although I don't see any good reason why not (I was an anti vampire Integra fan until the epilogue and volume 10 made me reconsider her arc). It's certainly half and half. That's why Hirano chose to end it ambiguous.

Now Gonzo wise... it wasn't so ambiguous as people believe. There's absolutely no good reason for her to not become a vampire. When people write their "Hellsing name is cleaned and all is good again" fics without second thoughts THAT is ooc and bad written. Integra had just been stripped from honor, she had been nearly raped TWICE, nearly used as sacrifice, betrayed, almost died, saw her men be insulted by everyone, believed the Queen abandoned them, locked up by a crime she didn't commit, and also desired vampire power since the beginning (what she didn't want was to become a servant). Now... this woman here who wouldn't forgive her own blood for betraying her would forgive the knights and the Queen for the same offense? What happened with her resolution to make people pay thousandfold by the massacre in episode 7? What happened by the end was much worse. Anime ending was much darker, while Manga one Integra might accept be a vampire to be with her family and protect UK (because let's face it, leaving Alucard unwatched is pretty stupid move XD), but in the Anime, she would accept to recover one shred of her power (because she was violated in every conceivable way) and avenge her people.

6. Alucard/Seras... or Alucard/Walter. ._.

4. Okay, that explains it. I was spoiled by the nets for the awesome epilogue, but I haven't read volume 10 yet b/c I'm using it as a tool of self-bribery to get me through this year in school. I've been too busy for it to bother me that I haven't read it...till now actually. lol.

And from what I remember of the Gonzo anime, that actually makes perfect sense. I'm converted on that one.

6. Yuck...and even more yuck.

4. Oh okay XD Integra defines monsters as someone who doesn't have "human traits/qualities" and humans (true humans) those who fight for "duty/obligation/some greater commitment". That's all, nothing related to species. Towards the end, Integra asks Alucard if he wants to suck her blood (what turns people into vampires or ghouls or vampires into true nosferatu is bloodsucking -that same specific kanji used-, not bitting and not mere "drinking". Seems to be something "spiritual" or whatever)... now she could have been joking. We never see the result. So it's up to you to decide.

Yeah... One reason I disliked the Gonzo Anime is how sexist it was. Manga wise, Integra's choice would be no strings attached, whatever she wants, but Anime wise? They were pushing her for it.

6. Indeed.

4. Something tells me I'll be pro after I read it now. :)

Yeah. I knew Integra was awesome watching the anime, but it wasn't until I read the manga that I realized how awesome. Quite possibly the most awesome female character I've ever come into contact with.

6. Though my least favourite pairing is probably either Integra/Major or Integra/Walter.

Lol I mean "she can not become a vampire." Manga ending is pretty open.
