I think I'll give it a go based on pure love of the Sherlock Holmes in general. Not to play into what the angry feminists are going on about, but I honestly am iffy about a female Holmes (partially I'm a traditionalist, but partially it's apparently the third time CBS has tried it and they always flopped before).
Lucy Liu also made a statement regarding the show I didn't like: that now that they have a woman the show can now have romance. Excuse me. 1. 2 men can have a relationship 2. Holmes is supposed to be basically asexual, with the exception of Irene Adler.

Still gonna do my usual 5 episode test run. I do like the fact that they seem to be playing him as legitimately insane, which'll be fun.
Just gonna avoid the fandom, save when it floats across my dash.
